SAP Central Business Configuration
The configuration environment of SAP S/4HANA Cloud: scope items are activated first, then settings are maintained through their SSCUIs.
Configuration starts with the scope, the scope items of the business processes in use. Settings belonging to a scope item are available only once it is activated, and activating a scope item can have licensing implications.
Settings that an on-premise system maintained through SPRO are re-created in the cloud through the SSCUIs of the activated scope items — where an equivalent exists.
In ERP Preflight
SPRO2Cloud reports settings that depend on a scope item, so the activation can be planned before configuration starts.
